Christmas Lighting for Historic and New Franklin Homes
Franklin has two very different kinds of house to light, and both need care. We have been doing this in Williamson County since 2006 as a family-owned local business.
One Price, Start to Finish
Design, custom-cut commercial-grade product, insured installation, in-season repairs, takedown and off-season storage are all included in a single price. Nothing on that list is billed as an extra later. See how the six-stage process works.

Local Knowledge
Historic Trim and New Traditional Rooflines
Downtown Franklin and the surrounding historic district are full of Victorian and Greek Revival homes with original wood trim, decorative brackets, porch columns and turned railings. That detail is the reason the houses look extraordinary lit, and the reason careless installs do damage. We never staple, nail or screw into historic trim, fascia or siding. Everything attaches with clips sized to the specific edge.
The newer side of Franklin is a different job. Traditional neighborhood developments like Westhaven and the Berry Farms area have tight, uniform streetscapes, front-facing gables and design standards that govern what a display may look like. A clean, consistent, correctly-cut run matters more there than anywhere, because your house is seen alongside forty others doing the same thing.
Both types share the same weather problem. Middle Tennessee swings from ice to 60 degrees inside a week, so we use commercial-grade LED strands with sealed connections and back them with a 24-hour service guarantee.
- No fasteners into historic trim
- Design-standard friendly installs
- Porch, column and railing detail work
Planning the Install
Historic Fabric, New Streetscapes and the Franklin Calendar
On a historic Franklin home the governing rule is reversibility. Everything we attach comes off in January leaving the trim, brackets, columns and siding exactly as we found them. Nothing is stapled, nailed or screwed into original fabric, and clips are sized to the specific edge they sit on rather than forced onto a profile they were not made for.
The newer traditional neighbourhoods are a different discipline. In Westhaven, Berry Farms and similar developments your house is seen in a row of forty others with the same roof form, so consistency is what reads as quality. Uniform colour temperature, matched bulb spacing and a line that holds level across the whole frontage matter more here than anything decorative.
Both sides of Franklin share the same weather problem, and it is the one that ends most displays early. A hard freeze and a sixty-degree week can land in the same fortnight in Middle Tennessee. Commercial-grade strands and sealed connections are the difference between a display that survives that swing and one that fails halfway through December.
Franklin books early. The historic district in particular has a limited number of installers willing to work on original trim, and those slots go first.
- Fully reversible attachment on historic trim
- Consistency-first design in planned neighbourhoods
- Sealed connections for the Middle Tennessee freeze-thaw swing

Frequently Asked Questions
Will you damage the trim on a historic Franklin home?
No. We use clips made for the specific roof edge, gutter lip or railing and we never staple, nail or screw into wood trim, fascia, brackets or siding. Historic homes are a large part of what we light in Franklin.
Do you install in Westhaven and other HOA neighborhoods?
Yes. Send us your association guidelines for dates, colours and takedown and we will design to them.
How much does Christmas light installation cost?
In the historic district the quote reflects careful attachment to original trim and the extra time that takes. In the newer neighbourhoods it follows roof planes and frontage width. Both include takedown and storage. Call us on (615) 595-9686 and we will price your specific elevation.
