Brentwood sits on rolling Williamson County terrain, and the houses are built to match: two and three-story brick and stone traditionals with multiple gables, dormers and roof planes that change direction three or four times across the front elevation. A generic strand run straight across that reads as a mess. Each plane has to be measured and cut on its own.
The lots are the second design problem. Long driveways and deep front setbacks mean the roofline alone often looks thin from the road. On most Brentwood properties the display only reads properly once the approach is lit too, so we plan the driveway, columns, entry and the mature hardwoods as part of the same design rather than as add-ons.
Neighborhoods around Concord Road, Franklin Road and the Maryland Farms side each have their own character, and many have HOA expectations about what goes up and when. We work within those, and we handle steep multi-story pitches as standard insured work.

Planning the Install
HOA Windows, Power at the Road, and Booking Early
A large share of Brentwood sits inside an HOA, and many of them govern holiday displays: when lights may go up, when they must come down, sometimes colour and sometimes whether anything may be attached to a shared or street-facing structure. We ask for the guidelines before we design, because a display that has to be pulled in December is worse than one that was planned around the rules in October.
Power is the constraint people forget on a deep lot. Lining a two-hundred-foot driveway and lighting the entry means getting circuits to the road end of the property, and older Brentwood homes often have exterior outlets only near the house. We plan the circuit layout, timer placement and load in the design stage so the display is not tripping a breaker on the first cold night.
Multi-plane elevations are measured plane by plane. A Brentwood traditional with gables, dormers and a change of direction three or four times across the front is not one run of lights, it is eight or ten separate cuts that have to meet cleanly at every junction.
Williamson County books out earlier than Davidson. If a Brentwood install is going up this season, the design conversation belongs in September, not the week after Thanksgiving.
