What an Estate Install Needs Before Anyone Climbs a Ladder
Belle Meade properties take the longest lead time of anything we install, and almost none of that time is spent on a ladder. The work is in the survey: walking the frontage from the road, measuring each roof plane and its edge material, identifying which trees actually carry the composition, and confirming where power is available across a lawn that may be a hundred feet deep.
Roof edge material decides the hardware before anything else does. Slate and tile need attachment chosen for that specific edge, and the assessment happens before we quote rather than after a cracked slate has turned a lighting job into a roofing repair. Copper gutters and half-round profiles need their own clip choice for the same reason.
Most estates here already have landscape lighting, an irrigation system and often a security installation running through the same ground. Our runs are planned around them, and we coordinate access with whoever manages the property rather than turning up and improvising.
The composition itself is the part that takes judgement. A gate, a drive, an entry and two or three specimen hardwoods designed together will carry a Belle Meade frontage. Adding more strands to a roofline that is already too far from the road will not, however much of it you buy.
